Deep espresso coffee aroma and taste, with some dried figs and prunes and bourbon booziness as it warms. Less body than expected, feels a little lightweight because of that.

Nice barrel. I don’t quite get the coffee per se but get the bitterness in contrast to the up-front sweetness. Net, I concur with OP W.

Koffie met bruine suiker. De bourbon staat in dienst van, is totaal ondergeschikt, maar brengt wel lekkere zoetheid. Veel hout in de smaak, met de kenmerkende smaak van Founders. Iets te veel hout naar mijn smaak. De bitterheid heeft iets salmiak achtigs.

BBA brown. Plenty of chocolate followed by a nice bit of coffee. I want more barrel in this, however. Bottled 8.27.20.

Been holding on to this for close to 10 months. Roasty and dark chocolate to the nose. Coffee not as strong, but still lingers on the finish.

Very smooth, strong bourbon taste with a hint of coffee! Full bodied, would be awesome on nitro!
