2019 Vintage of what was once the greatest barrel aged imperial stout in the microbrew community. It’s amazing how so many small breweries are canning imperial stouts that are so much better now. It’s still quite tasty with great smooth bourbon character!

Fudgy chocolate with lighter coffee + hint of lingering roast. Essentially no bourbon & fairly thin. Not bad, but not great.

amplified bitter coffee & vanilla dominant flavors as compared to 2021 breakfast stout. BBA is subtle

Bottled 20190214. Last bottle for this one. Chocolate and coffee are a little more subdued, with the barrel notes getting a touch sharper.

After having this, I might rate bcbs classic better. Prefer Willettized.
