This one has aged surprisingly well. I didn’t exactly love it last year, but it’s actually pretty good now.

Let it age awhile. Really mellowed all the flavors. Fantastic stout

It's mellowed some in the 20+ months since purchase, but what a magnificent brew. As it warmed, the real body showed through.

W zapachu po nalaniu dominuje kawa, po chwili dochodzi czekolada i wanilia. W smaku pełnia, goryczka aksamnitność. Gorzka czekolada z nutami kawy, wanilli, czekolady i szlachetnego alkoholu, czekolada. Fajna goryczka taka kawowo czekoladowo palona.

Dark and opaque with a thin head reminiscent of espresso crema. Chocolate and coffee aromas layer nicely with woody bourbon barrels. Flavours of even more chocolate and coffee with the bourbon and booziness becoming domininant throughout the finish.

KBS will forever be one of the best, most balanced, most well crafted stouts that’s ever been made. The 2019 is just another vintage that proves that.

Seems slightly more bitter after a year. Stronger coffee/roasted taste. Less bourbon.
