Kinda dry cocoa with a lot of cinnamon. Vanilla bit distant.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Headley

Honestly pretty flat taste wise not carb wise. Had a cbs 2019 right before this that was still pretty rockin. CBS was much better than kbs I guess. I will check that in now for posterity.

Not awful with almost 5 years on it. Still a bit boozy but smoother type boozy. Actually think I have one more buried even deeper in my beer cellar that I have yet to unearth.

Uncertain on the vintage. 16 or 17 or 18 likely. Lotta hop flavors still but nothing but super damn smooth man.

Last one of these I have. First one I ever had was 4 years ago today. Doing same thing. Listening to this album and wrapping gifts. This is so damn smooth now. It has zero alcohol burn but it’s under 10% and considering, it’s held up really well.

Wow really nice bourbon and maple sweetness comes through. The old ale is mellowed to a good means to transport this nice barrel aging and still have some backbone.

KBS Espresso (2019) Headley

Pretty tasty a year out. Really rich roasted flavor but the fresh coffee nuisances are missing a bit. Still excellent.
