Bourbon barrel aging is apparent. Also the usual imperial stout flavors of chocolate and coffee. Excellent!

Saving this for a special occasion. Can't sleep so gonna watch the sunrise with San Cristobal cigar and an awesome beer in tribute to the Axe Man ,Eruption just may be his best work. Let's open the debate. RIP EVH. Beer has mellowed a bit. Makes it smooth

Excellent.great body, not too thick or syrupy with prominent vanilla and chocolate notes ending with a slight warming

Had this one sitting for a year. Wow, what a fantastic pour. Pours a roasted coffee black, with a toasted brown head that coats the glass nicely. Insane smoothness, from aging a year in temp control. Medium-full bodied still, with loads of flavor

Initially I was hit with quite a bit of vanilla followed by barrel char. As it warmed up there was a role reversal of flavors. Boozier when it's warm

Much more bourbon and heat the regular KBS. Still has great coffee and chocolate notes but the bourbon is center stage
