It's Mexican hot chocolate esque. It's not spicy enough to check that box ✅.

Tastes like a gose and a grapefruit conceived illegitimate pint in a back alley. Salty grapefruit. Just watched JJ McCarthy put his NFL career on the line to make a huge run up the middle. I'm sure all the husky linebackers want to lay the wood on him.

That initial flavor was big maple and vanilla. Subsequent tastes give a bigger booze presence than the abv. Maple and vanilla have good representation here.

KBS 2019 Special Reserve Boss

Initially I was hit with quite a bit of vanilla followed by barrel char. As it warmed up there was a role reversal of flavors. Boozier when it's warm

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Boss

French pressed with cinnamon toast crunch. Tastes like slightly watery cinnamon toast crunch, a little booze. Most of the base KBS experience is gone.
