Intriguing burnt orange colour. Very lively still, with nice carbonation. Dry and woody, with a short, slightly spicy finish. Balanced well with sweetness from strawberry/cherry-like flavours. Would be very interesting to compare to a newer batch.

Incredibly how bottle variation happens through time. This is lactic and funk when opened, then lots of cherries meat and lactict too that meets a berliner weisse in the middle. Tartness from lambic and acidity too. Amazing carbonation for 7y.

Haven’t had one of these in a while and this 17’ doesn’t disappoint! Delicate red fruits intertwined perfectly with the lambic base. Just perfect!

Vinous aroma somewhat like lingonberry coupled with horse blanket, wet hay, with a raspberry sweet-tartness. Medium tartness, exquisite balance. Raspberry-like tartness with a delicate vinous undergirding.

EB Frilltessence 2023. Paired with rillette. This vintage is really starting to find its prime. Lovely grape character and a ton of amazing funk!

Lovely and soft. The weight and texture were very elegant. As it opens more red fruit joins the earthy vinous character. One of the better bottles I've ever had
