12oz bottle. Wild how well this has held up. Also highlights how different their brewing techniques are now compared to what they used to put in bottles. Sweet and still plenty happening. Booze. Honeycomb.

Hard to describe, but phenomenal- 18 years old - if ya don’t like barleywine at all, you won’t like it

For science, thank you Jeff Allen. I didn't die, yet. Tastes like a leathery and slightly anise English barley wine.

15 years... this thing has turned into a fine sipper. I have waited for a special occasion for this one 😉

7 years wasn't enough. 15 is perfect. No hops left whatsoever. Massively rich malty toffee, leathery, coffee cake dessert. No harsh booze, no aggressive hops, no rough edges at all. This is smoothed out beyond belief. Best 120 I've ever opened. 03/30/06

Best guess on age. Hops are long gone, but plenty of caramel and berry flavor. Booze well hidden. Good stuff!
