My prior review still fits. If time has mellowed the hops, there are still plenty of hops to go around

Strong Malty IPA. High ABV beer. A little strong for my tastes but good !

Sweet citrusy almost perfume like nose. Got that west coast amber hue. Semi malted palate. Def doesn’t taste like 9.2.

Boozy, but smooth. Nothing fancy, just straight IPA.

Mediocre for Founders. Would be great for a startup.

Dark like a west coast, but none of the malt sweetness. Instead just a bitter bomb with no redeeming juice

Nice amber color with none of the malt sweetness. Bitter hop bomb the rest of the way. What IPAs used to be back during hop/IBU wars. Thanks for the swap Steve D.

1. Total lawnmower-party; but 2. too much bitterness for taste trade-offs, while reinforcing both 3. my view of Founders as being tremendous for malt ales but mediocre on the IPA spectrum, and 4. the truth that more ingredients isn’t always better.

Glad I bought one. Probably will stop there. Super aggro IPA that 30yo me would've loved. Today it just tastes like a mess.

Found this inna back o the beer fridge. Kinda dry piney start with a nice malty dry middle and a dry hop finish and aftertaste. Very dry!

An interesting IPA that hunts at citrus but has more of a licorice flavor.
