Tostada oscura, casi negra, con giste consistente, cremoso en color y aspecto. Aroma acaramelado con toques a bayas. El gusto sigue al olfato, haciéndose ostensible el dulzor alcohólico del envejecimiento en b de bourbon. No empalaga.

Aroma envejecido, acaramelado. Giste efímero y acremado. C° fino, notorio. Peligrosa, OH bastante integrado, aunque se nota. Sabor licoroso, dulce, maltoso, acaramelado. R° sutil cítrico y amargo, final pelín seco. Rica.

Har tappat mkt! Trodde jag inte skulle hända. Kul att orginaletiketten har klistrats över. 0,2 % starkare på andra lagret. Håller 12 år längre på första lagret.

It's below freezing outside and I can stay up late tonight and sleep in tomorrow. Perfect conditions for getting into a bottle of one of my favorite sipping beers.

Barrel pops right away with some alcohol finish. Malty but not too sticky. Some fig and other dark fruits.

I may have over aged this, it's not as flavorful as I remember, but still enjoyable, just muted, barrel has faded, mostly malty and prune. A 4+

Christmas baking is well underway, with a little help. Warming let some of the toffee come through in this, but 2018 just isn’t as dynamic of a year as some of the other vintages of Bastard. #proper

I picked this to end the night earlier in the day, kinda wishing this was something I drank earlier to build to a big BW perhaps but regardless here I am. It’s fine, just not a fantastic end of the night 🤷🏼♂️

madeira and tiramisu on the palate, huge dried fruit notes everywhere like all aged stouts/heavies. s/o covenhoven for opening this keg!

Aged fairly well (drank in 2022). Light ale with a slightly boozy taste. Not sure on the spices, but there is a hint of unbalanced fruit in there.
