Needed one worth celebrating my 1st major blog post in 7-8 mo; this’ll do. From my LM stash, thanks to P H. Rich cocoa nose, smooth as silk, malt; hint of dark chocolate… some coffee bitterness late. A bit much carbonation fade. Glad it didn’t die in LM.

Good beer with loads of coffee and subtle hints of bourbon. But compared to the 2022 version, very mellow. Nicely balanced but not as flavourful as a "fresh" one

Lost some body, vanilla, roast, alcohol bitterness. Dk fruit, a bit hot, lacks sweetness of a big stout, even as ut warms.

Heeft de veroudering fantastisch doorstaan. Subtiel gezoete chocolade met een vleugje bourbon. Geroosterde smaak lijkt iets te versterken met iets bitter, vanille, hout en een verwarmende afdronk. Smaak is nog vrij fris, geweldig in balans.

Aged decently well here. 12+% and this thing is woody. Clean, dry, woody finish. Very well crafted. Mandatory Shareable with Shepski!! Also shared with Gabbs!! Ashlie denied access. Roughly 5 yr aged!!
