Black beer, thick creamy brown head. Aroma: chocolate, roast malt, liquor, sharp, solvent, alcohol, Bourbon, vanilla. Taste: smooth, full, chocolate, boozy, vanilla, slight coffee bitterness and astringency. Moderate carbonation. Great beer!

Needed an excuse to open this, so new job seemed like a good excuse 😁 lovely smooth chocolate and coffee, hints of booze but not overpowering. Lovely warming sensation on the way down. Really nice.

2nd bottle. Barrel hit on the nose with a long Bourbon presence on the palate. Coffee has faded a bit but the rich chocolate has not! Nice touch on the inside of the cap, BA.
