Still has a solid nose to it, lots of chocolate. Dry chocolate, not as much sweet anymore, nice coffee bitterness.

Dark and malty with a heavy creaminess. Chocolate and coffee in this bourbon barrel flavor. This is a good brew every year!

Still as rich as I remember after a few years in the cellar, and still some booziness. Full-bodied, and the barrel-aging comes thru.

2018 more roasty body than 2019 but didn’t age as well as I’d hoped

4 years on 2/20/22. Not bad, lots of chocolate and minimal booze as expected.

Pulled a 2018 out of the cellar. Pleasantly surprised at how much coffee is remaining. Excellent!

Full bodied and every sip warms you from the inside out! Deep tones of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and grains and a nice hint of vanilla and oak. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice one!

Funny how this used to be the epitome of barrel aged stouts and now it just above average

Vintage version brought out for cellar raid. Definitely has a more bitter coffee flavor coming through and stays a while on the palate.
