A tad too sweet and smells like it's barrel aged, but doesn't really taste barrel aged.

Tis the season for brews with tonka beans. Luckily, this year, breweries have learned that too much tonka is not a good thing. Too bad i get no habanero heat, though. End result is a good dessert.

It's good, but it gets a lower rating because the orange/citrus taste doesn't really come through.

It's got a tonka taste to it, but not overpowering or overly sweet, like many other tonka stouts

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Hansen
Finally got a hold of one of these. Sometimes I spend a lot of time searching for a beer only to be disappointed. This one, not disappointing AT ALL. ❤️

A bit too sour and a bit not lemony enough. Maybe it should be served in sugar rimmed glasses?

This gets a bit too sweet after about half way through a pint. I recommend getting a small.

It's orange, then very hoppy. drinkable but too hoppy for me.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Hansen
I like this better than the other vintages of KBS that I have tried, the chocolate and coffee really come through.

It works quite nicely, but a little marzipan to the after taste that real ris a'la mande doesn't have.

The cucumber was definitely a mistake! The smell, ugg! But if you don't breathe in as you drink it, it's actually ok. Interesting, something to talk about, but never again.

This should be the "velkomst drik" (welcome drink) at every Danish party. Not sure if i could drink a pint, but when I find this bottled, I am buying it!

Has kind of an apple smell, but just a tart, oakey taste. Drinkable, but missing something.

First SOUR, then grapefruit, then finishing with a light mint flavor. I can drink it, but the sour is too off-putting to have another.

Too sour to drink a whole can of this, but when it's really cold, it's refreshing. Probably good over ice.
