It is what it is. I liked it better fresh. Aged 14 months…much more espresso bean-y now and thinner. Maybe I should have waited longer?

Always a good one, in this version it is even more coffeish. On nose it has a strong aroma of roasted espresso beans with some cocoa notes. Creamy and oily texture with a rich and complex flavor, full body, strong coffee taste but never overlying.

Espresso is upfront and tasty, but it drowns out the softer notes that set this base stout apart.

A friend gave this to me for Christmas. It’s aged well, still get plenty of barrel and the coffee. Cheers, everyone 🍻

No booze. Espresso at the forefront. Smooth and silky down the gullet. Nice winter warmer

Lovely coffee overtones with a solid stout foundation. Hints of bourbon sweetness balance out the espresso.

Bottled 10.16.2020. Ooo this is really good. So many chocolate & coffee notes. The espresso complements KBS so well. A solid sipper, especially for a coffee lover like myself.

Fantastic dark chocolate and heavy espresso. Great dry barrel and nice lingering finish.
