A tad too much espresso flavor (very dark roast). Very little chocolate even as warms. Relativelt thin for a barrel age. Blah blah blah. 4.14

A good spin off of the regular KBS. Prefer the Mackinac fudge version more

Lots of coffee flavor as can be expected. Definitely better as it warmed. Not much barrel to make note of. Overall, a good readily available option in this style.

Strong espresso with a little beer in it. Not trying to parent end to be anything that it’s not.

Solid chocolate espresso. Not bitter, even a non-coffee lover will enjoy this.

Zapach kawa, espresso, czekolada, średnio intensywne. Smak pół pełne, lekko alko, czekolada, sporo kawy, espresso, fajne.

Ehh...some espresso but over all kind of messy..nothing really screams espresso exept for the aftertaste maybe

Solid with very prominent coffee, but would like more of the chocolate and barrel aged flavors for balance.

Nose a bit weak, but espresso comes across fairly well on the palate. Some baker's chocolate as well.

Gotta say, I do like the original KBS better, but this is damn good. It’s just a flip flop of KBS. This is more coffee; to me, KBS is more chocolate. It’s still a very tasty beer.

I don’t know, to me it seems Founders in not even a trace of what it used to be. Not a bad beer by any means, but tastes uncharacteristically unbalanced and simply unimpressive. Only thing I look forward to nowadays is their CBS.

Mocno kawowe, wytrawne, delikatna beczka. Ogolnie fajne, inne niż dzisiejsze slodziak. Bardzo fajne

Definitely would have benefited with some time on the shelf. Boozy with a lot of bitter and sweet chocolate and coffee.
