Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Variant of KBS KBS gets its coffee fix in the very first variant to come from our beloved bourbon barrel-aged stout. Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. The result is a fresh and snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer. Who says you can’t start your day with a barrel-aged stout?

Shout out to my homie, Lee, who hooked me up with a bunch of dank bottled bevy’s from all around. These KBS stouts are pretty decent. This Espresso version is a bit rich for my taste, but I’d say that’s pretty accurate to the taste of espresso. Decent.

Dark as the night. Fine Brown foam. Aroma is intense as always. Dominant coffee. Also bourbon bba, chocolate and a Nice boozy note. Mouthfeel is thick. Perfect balance between sweet and roast. End = LOTS of coffee and is Long lasting. Calls for more sips!
