Better from bottle than taster earlier in Decorah IA. Wonderful aroma. Taste is maltiness, balanced bourbon, pleasant coffee notes, cocoa, alcohol well hidden.

Una stout de manual. Cuerpo medio-alto, espuma abundante y de aspecto marrón. Aroma y sabor chocolateado y a café, ya desde el momento de servir la cerveza el aroma invade los sentidos. 12% abv que pega desde el comienzo. Una delicia para los sentidos.

Great coffee and chocolate flavors. Especially coffee. Should be a required beverage for every breakfast.

Been awhile, given my loss of appreciation of this genre - but very good, subtle barrel that becomes a bit more pronounced as it sits. Still balanced without the barrel overpowering a nice amalgam of flavor(s).

Quality! Wish I’d have got a few more bottles of this at the time. Lots of coffee and chocolate, such an easy drinker for the ABV, cracking! 🍫☕️🍻

Huge KBS nose is unmistakable; boozy, espresso tasty but both of us prefer the more balanced KBS version.

Pure decadence. Strong espresso notes with the requisite chocolate flavors. Not as boozy as I thought it would be, but this is a heavy hitter for sure.
