Strong coffee note on the nose (bit of baking chocolate too). Momentary sweetness is damped by roasted malt and coffee astringency. Finish is fairly dry and bitter, esp. for a BA stout. Bit of a fuel note. All the coffee hides most of the barrel notes.

Just lovely. Rich coffee flavors with a touch of cocoa and bourbonesque sweetness.

A very tasty stout. The notes upfront are dark bitter chocolate and roasted malts. The espresso comes through on the finish while the bourbon ageing is subtle.

Deze doet denken aan de oudere KBS. Meer chocolade en vooral veel meer koffie. Licht in de bourbon BA en boozy, maar wel typisch Founders smaak. Geslaagde variant.

A personal favorite... Weirdly for me it pairs well with a bacon ranch pizza.

Smells like coffee beans, tastes like dark dark caramel sweetness chocolate. Bourbon is there, like it!

Late check! Smooth, coffee, sweet, and delicious! I still like the original KBS better but this is the next best!

Lovely coffee aroma, dark, smooth. You could pour this over ice and honestly mistake it for a cold brew. It is slightly bitter as to be expected and would probably pair well with a cookie or cake for dessert.

Watching the game! This is from 08.18.21 1801 6. Pours black w/ almond head. Espresso coffee shop and bourbon aroma. Tastes of coffee, whiskey, and vanilla
