Tasty beverage though sadly, late in the game, I’ve just learned that there is much to do at Founders to address racism and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hopefully they embrace the challenge but for now they’ve seen the last of my business

Coffee and alcohol aroma. Espresso and chocolate flavor with a touch of bourbon. Smooth. Delicious. Great paired with strawberry shortcake.

Bottled on 04/23/20. Foamy head, rich smell - think cocoa, nougat, a tad of burnt wood. Full mouthfeel, almost sirupy. Strong coffee and espresso notes, bitter aftertaste. Tasty beer, slightly prefer regular KBS though.

My first Founders since their social SNAFU last year. Sweet, malty, and with bunch of roasty coffee with a slightly bitter finish.

LCI, roasty coffee and dark chocolate. Not quite as good as regular kbs but still excellent.

Snap hem well, koffie duidelijk merkbaar.. Barrel aging.. Komt wel op.. Maar om na huis te schrijven.. Yep.. Kouwe sterke haren recht op je hoofd biertje...

Whoa. I am a believer @ the first sip of this. Smooth with furlongs of depth. A little warmth from the ABV.

Dejlig stout. Godt rundet af og bitterheden fra kaffen spiller godt uden tandplejere alt for meget. En god Breakfast stout også. God, men mangler lidt i forhold til den almindelige KBS og CBS

Heel veel koffie, cacao, wat vanille, initieel een klein zoetje, maar eindigt droog en flink bitter. Ondanks het percentage proef je niets van de alcohol. De bittere nasmaak kan ik wel waarderen, de koffie vind ik iets te overheersend.

Paired with cold weather and... my first viewing of The Karate Kid? I guess stranger things happen. Coffee here is out of this world. It's basically (slightly) chocolatey espresso with a cheeky splash of whiskey for oomph. Not at all sticky, finishes dry.

15 months in the cellar, really smooth and mellow out of the bottle. The barrel and boozy notes really develop as this sits in the glass. One more in the cellar, hoping for 24 months.

It's good, but agree with Steve about expecting a bit more.
