Beetje vlak. Je proeft duidelijk de koffie en chocolade maar de barrels zitten te veel op de achtergrond. Jammer maar nog steeds best lekker. Had alleen meer verwacht

Last batch pre COVID. Feb 2020. Cellared 35 months. Should have been the sign that the world we knew was gone… KBS used to be thee BBA beer. Smh

I wasn’t a big fan of this vintage about a year ago, and it’s even worse now. Very dry and somewhat bitter, like sucking on a barrel stave that’s been rolled in cocoa powder.

Kind of lacking IMO. Boozier & a tad harsher than what I've had before. Coffee & choc light on this bottle/batch. Bottled 2/28/20

Not sure the quality is at the level I expect now that it’s year round.

This beer has really started to fall off for me, the coffee is so out of balance and there’s so little barrel it tastes like it was aged about 2 months.

I feel like I remember this being a little heavier and chewier. Also a little sweeter. Still a delicious beer.
