Chocolate caramel sweetness, coffee bitterness, charred bourbon barrel. Extremely heavy, velvety mouthfeel, short aftertaste.

First we’ve had of the OG ‘20. Which I guess isn’t stamped with year anymore (now being “year round”). Great as always

Mackinac fudge version may make me lower rating on this one but still one of my classic favorites so nope ;)

First of the 2020 release. I always like to try at least one fresh and then age others. Very good as expected l, but it is a little hot that should calm down with aging.

Almost ten months old. I let this one chill a bit longer than usual (52°). Right now I’m getting tons of bitter chocolate flavor, but very little aroma. Some roast and coffee, but not much bourbon. I’ll comment more as it warms.

여태 마셨던 베럴 에이지드 중에서 가장 좋았다. 적절하게 밸런스가 잡혔고 온도가 높아질수록 약간의 매움과 커피향이 뿜뿜 펴졌다

Åh herregud vad bra. Kraftfull och mjuk på samma gång. Cocos och vaniljsöt men rejäl beska och brändhet från kaffe som väger upp 🙏. Så jävla bra.

Not much bourbon at all on the nose or taste. Kind of disappointing that way but otherwise very good.

Wow, huge coconut for a beer with no coconut. Chocolate and boozy, rich espresso. Prepping for an upcoming 18/19/20 vertical, hopefully nye.

Merlin B., X S. - Day 6: US of A, Founders. A classic BA stout, ideal for rinsing away the bad taste 2020 may have left behind 😜. Lots of bourbon flavours complementing the chocolate, a tad boozy but hey who cares 😃
