It's Founder's, so I have no doubt they actually hit their mark. But this just isn't for me. All I can taste is boozy barrel wood. Might as well have poured a couple fingers of Laphroaig.

Bottled 13/08/20. Raisins, malt, bit caramel, BA, grainy, dark grapes, boozy. Fluid and medium body at most. Drying. Not as enjoyable and sweet as I hoped.

Розлив 11.11.2020. Немножко не дотянул до года, но греет душу то, что в шкафу есть вторая бутылочка. Это пиво можно сравнить со стальным кулаком в шелковой перчатке. Мощь и деликатность, насыщенность и тонкость. Вкусно!

Zware rakker oftewel een krachtpatser, maar licht van smaak. Van dit bruine goud word ik wel warm……een beste mond vol bourbon. 🥃💪🏽

This tastes like sumthin' you'd quaff in a rough tankard handed to ye in the mines of Moria. Dark, rich, and with strong notes of molasses. Exactly what a dwarf like me would like, by Moradin's hairy arse.

Strong on the scotch. Really dry. It’s got some raisin mixed in with smoke. It is aggressive. And angry.

Still sweet and boozy and and a little smoky from being a scotch ale. Very good for 1 yr cellaring.
