French Toast Bastard

I love me some Backwoods Bastard, and maple syrup. The cinnamon, tree bark....tone down the fucking cinnamon. It's too much in this guy...takes me out of it. Good idea, bad execution IMO.

Lotta barrel, some sweetness, hazelnut flavor is nice, roasted coffee, chocolate.

Very rich, dark chocolate, BA bourbon, decadent syrupy goodness.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020)

Port BA, roasted malts, velvety, pretty nice as this warms up. Vikings beating the pack, we'll blow it, rest assured.

Creamy vanilla deliciousness. Some slight BA stuff. It's good.

Yup, still good. I remember hunting for this beer.. ..yawn, it's still damn good and everywhere.

Creamy, nice coffee and vanilla. Some BA goodness. Had to check again and see that it's not an imperial cream ale. Politics aside, they make good beer.

Fuck me, my fun little welding project on the pontoon boat has turned into a job. This beer helps, malty, hoppy American barleywine, raisins, nice. I'll get it though.

75 IBU barleywine. Sweet, roasty, molasses, with a lingering bitterness. Pretty rich stuff, it'll do.

Panther Cub

They may be racist assholes, IDK, but their BA program is top notch. Maple syrup, vanilla, rich base porter. Tasty stuff. San Miguel is getting them around the world. One of the early big beer breweries that I remember, so I have a soft spot for them.

Floral, citrus, decent IPA.

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged

This is 18%? Drinks like a 10% or so. Very smooth. Very rich, chocolate, coffee, malty, vanilla. Some BA whiskey flavor, but not overpowering. This is really good. I guess I'm getting drunk.

Punkin Ale

Always the best pumpkin beer of the year.

Marvelroast

A bit sweet, vanilla, caramel, coffee, milk chocolate. Damn good. Interesting and pretty awesome. This works for me.
