I’m a big fan of the Founder’s Barrel Series, and this edition doesn’t disappoint. If every bourbon barrel selection tasted like this one, there’d be no need for heaven, we would already be there.

Roasty coffee, sweet notes of delicious bourbon, not overly boozy, although I would like it to be.... otherwise fantastic

Spectacular! Strong coffee without being bitter blends beautifully with the brown ale.

This year tastes better than I remember from last year, the coffee is the same but the bourbon seems to come through more this year which was my one complaint last year. Also most of the beer I just checked were from the last couple days, just sayin.

My favorite brown ale is back and a great way to celebrate a UGA Victory!! Coffee up front followed by nutty oak and bourbon finish. Very boozy this year as I can feel it going down.

Just as good as last years. Glad Founders didn't wreck this beer.

Definite bourbon notes with strong malty backbone. The Sumatra coffee is an excellent addition. Excellent!
