Nice fudge notes. Nice bit of maple and barrel. Very balanced yet boozy.

KBS variants keep on popping up and I'm always going to give them a try. This one is with fudge flavored coffee and maple syrup. The result is a mocha forward stout with the soft bitter bite of oak. I'm putting this one above all other KBS and below CBS.

Aroma is chocolate and maple - flavor is definitely fudgie and oaky but the mouthfeel is a bit thin. All in all a pretty impressive nationally distributed pastry. Thx Ken

Thick and sweet. Bourbon smell. But drinks smooth. Sweetness overpowers the bourbon aftertaste.

We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels.

Accent on fudge. A little sweet for my taste. However, very tasty, full body variant of an excellent stout.
