Very balanced for an over the top, one and done beer. It’s a boozy macchiato, topped with fudge sauce.

Here’s to the beginning of another weekend in isolation and maybe the last campfire of the year. At least the beer supply is holding out. I’ll always associate this beer with Jon and Ashley’s wedding. Good stuff but an IPA is on deck.

A chocolate version of KBS. Probably don’t want to serve it too cold.

Homemade pizza & this freaking beauty . What a delicious imperial stout by Founders who never disappoint. Aged in oak bourbon barrels this one is a perfect dessert amplified with rich chocolate notes with a hint of maple syrup . Love it 😍

Delicious! The maple and fudge are well balanced masking the 11%.

Getting my fudge on tonight. Very chocolatey. Thought it might be sweeter with the maple syrup, but not getting as much of that. A very nice KBS variant.

2020. Bold coffee aroma, much smoother taste. Smooth chocolatey base with a lovely sweet thread of maple through the center and big fudgy coffee bean pudding dolloped on top. Solid KBS variant

Love Founders. Deze is iets scherper/alcoholisch dan KBS of CBS. Nice New one

Was going to pick up four more of these today, but I found two more interesting 4-packs instead.

Smells like good coffee. Taste is very coffee forward with a slight chocolate syrup finish. Want more chocolate when you say fudge. Medium body. Could age well if coffee weakens. Not much bourbon. Bar is high for Founders stouts

As soon as it was poured, the smell of chocolate is very prominent. This one is full bodied, rich, and goes down smooth. Maple hits up front, followed by coffee and fudge notes. Bourbon is present due to aging in oak barrels. Thumbs up for sure!
