this is the best iteration of KBS i’ve had in a few years. with some time, it could really be something special. but the enhancers did their job here.

Roasty chocolate milk boozy nose, light oil slick mf delivers semi cloying sweetness. I was hoping for more maple, and tho perfectly happy to indulge a sweet tooth or two the sweetness n booze are throwing me a bit. Warmed this, might’ve been better coolr

Not bad but nothing special. Coffee is there, but not getting any maple syrup and finishes with a harsh bitter flavor

Good, but the booze taste from the barrel is almost non-existent... Which isn't bad, but not what I expected

My least favorite variety of KBS, but still good. Heavy on the chocolate and booze, reminds me more of a dessert beer. Coffee and maple syrup notes are subtle here. Definitely a sipping beer, great for lounging this winter.

Vette hoop sjokla. bietje koffie, waar is de Maple? Zo in balans dat ik niks van de barrel meekrijg.

Not boozy - but very dark, heavy, and fudgy! Wouldn’t be a frequent choice, but it is pretty good.
