Really enjoying this. Bought another four pack tonight so finished off the original four pack with Islamorada style king mackerel

Holy fudge. Probably the best shelfie stout I’ve had.

Great beer. I wish the taste could be as powerful as the aroma which is heavy fudge, and maple syrup.

Cocoa on nose. Creamy espresso crema head. Medium body, a little oily and mouth-coating. Notes of cocoa, chocolate malt, coffee, vanilla. Not picking up the oak on this one, and just the slighest touch of bourbon. Not my fave KBS variant, but good.

A few years ago the smell alone would've blown my mind. Regardless, very good

It's ok not much more that the oatmeal breakfast stout other than the booze kick.

Cozy night. Holiday week so I’m just pretending I don’t have to get up at 4:30 for work tomorrow.

It's as described. My attempt won't do it justice. Very rich, very flavorful. The 11%abv is well masked. Subtle notes of bourbon aging but nothing over the top or overwhelming. A real good sipper!

Thinner mouthfeel than I expected. Lots of fudge , maple and nuts in this easy drinking stout. Be careful - still a high abv sleeper.

I’m loving this just hints of maple 🍁see the GIANT pork chops 🙃

Best KBS variant I've encountered, slight round up, but really really good

My favorite of the 2 variants unless you count CBS than there is no comparison.

Better than KBS Espresso but no OG KBS. I'm hoping they don't make a variant of this annually. H/T Rew and Kratz

Not really any maple, unfortunately. Definitely a more pronounced chocolate profile though - dark, bakers chocolate. Fairly dry for an imperial stout too. Probably prefer standard KBS, but not a huge difference anyway.
