Not impressed with the regular stuff, but a friend from K’zoo suggested I give this variant a try. It’s better. Still a little thin for a stout, but doesn’t have the alcohol burn. I have three more and will certainly drink them.

Chocolate fudge up front with maple, bourbon, and a little coffee on the finish. Frickin’ delicious. No hint of the 11%.

Absolutely. Amazing. Layered, complex, smooth, rich, delicious. Maple and fudge are present, but not terribly sweet. This is damn near BBA stout perfection.

The combination of chocolate and coffee flavors with addition of maple along with bourbon aging gives this beer deep rich flavors and taste.

Awesome beer! First whiff: a little maple, chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. As I sipped on it, the fudge developed more and more. Taste: great Balance! I get the bourbon and maple followed by chocolate. Not much coffee. A little thin but oh well.

Nose is delicious! Chocolate brownies all day! Palate has notes of chocolate and mild coffee.
