Kinda between KBS and CBS, in terms of both sweetness and bitterness. Very tasty.

Not many beers I rate over 4.5, and to this day, only ONE has been a 5.0. This one, is right up there though! Well done Founder's!

Hard to believe that 11% abv. So much flavor! Although I don't get as much maple as I did from the 2020 batch.

Aroma: coffee, fudge & cocoa powder with subtle maple sweetness. Taste: dark chocolate, fudge, coffee, oats, buttery sweet maple syrup. As it warms up a bit there is a nuttiness of peanuts and/or almonds coming through. Perfect for breakfast or nightcap.

The chocolate is like dark chocolate, itโs not sweet. It IS perfect.

Thick and sweet this packs a boozy maple chocolate punch. Reminds me of the maple bars in an assorted chocolate box but this delightful beer is not as cloyingly sweet and with a finer balance

With every KBS release there are bound to be some speciality flavors that either hit or miss the mark. This beer is the latter, bravo!
