Flavor was amazing. Fudge was delicious and subtle notes of maple. Hugh fans of CBS might not prefer as much as the fudge comes across strong. The BA isn't very noticeable over the other flavors but super easy drink @11%. Recommend

I thought KBS couldn’t get any better, but this may have done it. Boom fudge with a hint of maple.

Absolutely wonderful! This stout has so much to offer and just is plain old good. Flavors of sweet chocolate cake, Smokey coffee beans, and the finish of the oak barrels leaves me stupafied.

Tasting at 50 degrees. Beautiful coffee shop/mocha aroma. Medium bodied frothy feel. Coffee-forward arrival, balanced by hot cocoa midpalate that darkens into dark chocolate brownie batter. Fresh ground coffee beans and a touch of bourbon on the finiSh

That’s the most chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Maybe coming through as it warms. Great flavor.

Holy crap I’m loving this... I was a bit worried on the sweetness levels with all that fudge, maple syrup and such, but NO, this is just SO well done and perfectly ballance with GREAT barrel notes! Pretty amazing beer. Get you some!

A nose that yells chocolate bourbon fudge. This is like eating grandma’s fudge and slinging back a chaser of Knob Creek. It’s delicate and oaky with a maple hint and just a touch of coffee. Bold, beautiful, barrel-aged beer. All good things start with B

Not as much barrel flavor as expected and fudge flavor is really forefront. Good bit different than normal KBS, still excellent. Cheers to check in #1500

One of the best I’ve had. Perfectly sweet and boozy. Does not taste like 11% at all.

The maple is present, the chocolate is there. You get the same KBS coffee and vanilla feel. It is so nice to not have a lactose stout.

Really digging this take on KBS. That sweet chocolate and coffee really comes through. I only know maple is in it because leaves sticky feeling on the lips. If the barrel came through more this would be A+++

Wow...Delicious...Chocolate and coffee with a nice amount of sweetness... Somewhat thick, but doesn't drink like a high ABV stout.. smooth as silk. Founders always hits it out of the park with barrel-aged goodness. Love it!!

The Maple does reveal itself as it warms up. Not boozy in taste which can be a problem if you don't monitor you intake.

Like a piece of cake after dinner, delicious. Really similar to CBS 2019, but way more chocolate and coffee in this one.
