Light notes of maple, tons of coffee, and overall nice dessert-like feel. Medium minus feel. Sweet up front that gets cut on the finish due to bourbon barrels. An enjoyable variant to the original! 84

Sweet and neat. Rich chocolate and full stout flavor with quite a bit of sweetness to offset the ABV.

Most of their beers are very boozy. You can actually taste the flavors in this one.

Definitely KBS. Coffee *very* forward. Like base KBS, you better like coffee flavor. Just a slight maple nose. Flavor just as coffee forward. A bit of fudge thickness and some maple back taste, along with the coffee. Just can't enjoy it.

An imperial stout with Mackinac fudge coffee, coffee, maple syrup and chocolate aged in oak bourbon barrels. A bold new take on a time honored Grand Rapids, MI classic. Bring me more.

Decadent chocolate fudge comes though nicely without overpowering the base beer. Ends with burnt coffee bitterness thatβs a bit too much. Not too cloyingly sweet like I expected. Overall pretty well done.

Oh, God, this is fudgier than the prior version. Best version of one of my favorites.

More fudge than maple. Really good variant of KBS. I think I prefer the OG and Espresso over this, though just slightly.
