Operation clear out the “cellar” is well underway . 2018 bottle. Super smooth. Maple still present. Better than when I had the same batch 8 months ago.

Over 2 years aged. Damn this never dies. Just keeps getting better. I think it’s gotten thicker too.

The hop profile, barrel aging, and malt tones all combine for a butterscotchy treat. Is butterscotchy even a word??...😷👍🍻😋

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #15. Super sweet aroma (as expected). I'm getting maple syrup and molasses right up front with bourbon following close behind. Taste has molasses first, followed by bourbon and maple syrup, with oak in the finish. 4.5/5

Old Ale, gerijpt in Maple Syrup Bourbon barrels. Heel zacht, kruidig, verwarmend, vanille, hout, Bourbon, zoetig, Maple syrup, boozy. Erg smakelijke knaller van 12,7%!

Another great beer from Founders. This is lighter color than the KBS beers. But a thicker feel in the mouth. Sweet. More boozy on the finish than say the Mackinac fudge. I know it’s not a KBS. just comparing. I’d buy again

2018 release. Delicious! Light body with excellent molasses and dulce de ledge flavors.

Rich sweet and drinkable. A hint boozy but totally compensated by the maple, molasses and malt.
