Dit is wel de moeite. Ik proef met name vanilleachtige karamel en het vat. De alcohol is nog redelijk gemaskeerd voor het percentage.

Good stuff. Balanced ale with some sweeteners, but just a touch.

Two years later. Very smooth. Not dessert. Very smooth. Toffee and caramel are still there. Ot boozy.

I guess I didn’t check this in years ago when it was new. I remember it being way too sweet. It has mellowed a lot and is very drinkable now.

This is an impressive old ale! Smoky caramel. Woody tones. Sweet maple. Barrel aged bourbon. Nice one!

Bottle from 2018 - A bit sweeter than I’d prefer, but the whisky flavor complements the maple and molasses well.

Very boozy. But smooth. The maple syrup comes through in the aroma. Maybe lends a little sweetness that smoothes the edges of the booziness.

Strong maple bourbon smell, but tastes more smooth with a sweet finish.

Zoet en vol. Lijkt op een barleywine maar dan met oude smaak.
