Good barleywine color. Sweet aroma, very sweet malty taste. Maple, bourbon comes thru nicely.

Shared amber pour. Smells sweet & boozy like honey & bourbon. Tastes of bourbon & maple, with the honey element really being molasses. Smooth but the boozy burn hits as you drink more. One of the last bottles I got back originally in ‘18. Great drinker.

Smooth, sweet, oaky, thick and strong. Dark amber. If there’s such a thing as dessert beer, this is it. I put it in the barley wine category, but this one is truly unique & tasty. Get more molasses than maple. Extra points for an excellent name and label.

Uhhh wow nearly 3 years does a nice job turning this awkward beer into something superb. Butterscotch smooth but not too sweet, huge booze neatly tucked inside, maple & bourbon playing subtly all over.
