Not a worthy vessel for such angelic beverage. 2017 on tap bitches! And O M G is it perfect! Maple is less prominent which is way better. Mellow coffee. Nice booze. Happy fucking Fri-yay.

FLN…Perhaps a bit too much age. Seems to have fallen off a bit, with fairly muted flavors.

Enjoyed the coffee flavor with a good amount of sweetness to it. I would drink this again.

Not what it once was. A little bit of a bitterness on the finish.

Well worth 5 yrs of conditioning…soft, subtle and no sugary aftertaste…lots of dry barrel flavors. I’m impressed.

Largely dead. Some oaky bourbon lingers, but the nose is medicinal

Probably the best example of a beer getting better with age that I remember.

A bit of a heavy beer for lunch but I had to come enjoy a glass when I saw it available, since this beer isn't even made any more (don't quote me), AND this was a favorite beer of my bro-in-law. Cheers to you bro! 🍻

Simply amazing. It’s since the pub I graduated from IPA and became a fan of stouts lol

I have like 5 bottles of this at home and yet I’ve never checked it in. Hmmmm.

This has been fermenting and sitting in casks and the bottle for 12 years. Finally cracked it open and it was impressive. Smooth and silky.

Sweetness is very subtle now, only a bit of the bitterness from the coffee remains.

This beer held up amazingly well. Unlike the Lions offense.

Held up very well. Maple is still there, sweetness came down.

Still a winner, nice to try after the stranger than collective arts porter…feels like it mellowed as well

This one still got the Mountie. Bottled on 27. Oct. 2017. Nose and taste are fantastic. But in the very late finish, the wine-like notes of dark berries bother me (-0.5). Perhaps aged too long.

5 years is just a little too long on aging this one. Too lttle maple, too much port.

I think I found the bottle that was leaking in the fridge. Fortunately still delicious!
