Velvet, chocolate, maple, very pleasant. But at 4 years old, perhaps slightly past its prime

Shared my last bottle yesterday…was super smooth, creamy, and complex. I think everyone liked it except for Jon, aka Mr. “I don’t drink stouts in summer”

Still has so much chocolate. Has a lot of legs left even being 4 years old. Best year out of 17, 18, 19.

Tasatonnin #6000 kunniaksi kellarin kätköistä kypsyttelyherkkua. Adjunctit toimivat, makeutta ei ole, alkoholi käy vähän jopa päälle.

Bf 181027. Sista flaskan med ryttaren på hästen. CBS åldras med värdighet. Mörk choklad, vanilj, läder och bourbon. Fyllig och hejdlöst god!

Maple gone, strong chocolate, one or two left in the cellar - still hard to beat the quality to bottle volume ratio

Cellar aged 4 years and lost some of the zip, not Founders fault at all. Thought aging will make me like it more but I definitely prefer it fresh!

Look what I found tucked away in the cellar? Can’t believe it held up as well as it did. Barrel faded a fair bit but the maple still has a grip. Great as always

Underwhelming if I’m being honest. Maple is very subtle, beer is rather thin, and it just seems to be lacking complexity …. Maybe it’s the age? Maybe it just doesn’t compete with today’s BA offerings…🤷‍♂️
