2017. Seems I haven't had this vintage since 2020. Oaky, smooth, sweet with maple, chocolate, bourbon, brewed coffee. Balanced and smooth but still with some strong bourbon. Spice develops late in the long finish. Doing great about 6 years later.

2017… wasn’t sure how this was going to be. Wow… it held-up great! Fantastic flavor profile. Still get the maple syrup, Bourbon, slight chocolate and coffee flavors. All around, a nice treat!

The Mountie may have fallen off over the years, but this beer certainly hasn’t - aged well and tampered down the sweetness to result in a full and truly delicious brew. I feel like it started a bit thin, but it definitely aged thiccc and tasty

Behoorlijk over de top, licht muf smaakje, best wel zoet, vol mondgevoel maar een beetje dunne smaak

Been aging this nearly six years. Taste is amazingly smooth. The maple and bourbon notes are much lighter than I remember but there is absolutely no bite and it maintains the beautiful stout flavor. Six years is not too long for CBS! Hats off to Founders!

Everything is faded, basically wet cardboard with a hint of sweet maple.
