The aging tempered the sweetness. Less maple, more bourbon/vanilla. Still at 4.75

Held up surprisingly well. Dark chocolate & maple sweetness. It’s a little warm for only 11.7%.

Oct17-Nov20, cojonuda, nada que ver con la de barril del bbf, pero no ha ganado mucho con la maduracion, asi que probablemente no merezca la pena la guarda.

Bright this up from the cellar. It was fantastic. Dawn and I finished it off quickly.

I think this is my last bottle that still had the Mountie on it.

Coffee has faded a bit. Maple is still present but is muted. Bourbon character still present. Overall even after 3 years this beer is still awesome.

Similar to the 18 I had recently. Still get decent amount of maple contrary to what many had said about aging this.

Feel like the maple fell off but its still smooth...chocolate..little BA.

A rare ‘second check in’ ...it’s even better after 3 years. Full bodied coffee. Chocolate. The unmistakable roasted oats and barley of a stout. To hell with the pastry variants that have become the rage. This is how it’s done.

#8 ranked beer of Stout Fest 2020 but the first of the night. Tasted maple. Didn't taste big ABV at all

There I go believing BJ thinking it was time to pop the '17. Neg, all the booze no maple. WTF?

My only beer from a swing state. I've had this bottle almost the entire Trump presidency. Thankfully I will not be needing to move to Canada

This beer is just so solid. The first coffee maple I had and still the best. I remember I got a small pour from Charles Nitze at ChurchKey when they had a Founders takeover back in 2015/2016, & I was blown away. This one stands up Joe. Ohhhh Canada!

Cleaning out some old bottles, no maple anymore but it's still got lots of chocolate, coffee, and bourbon
