This is a tried and true barrel-aged imperial stout. No bells or whistles attached. Strong on dark coffee and bakers chocolate. Barrel lends oak and warmth to this boozy brew. When you want to set a bar for barrel-aged stout, find this one.

Just a beautiful beer. Simple imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels. Nothing else. Just about perfect.

Actually opened this last night for NYE with the intention of finishing it, but instead I went to bed early... Not sure this is really better than the non BA version.
