A very nice balance of stout and booze. Thick and juicy but not overly boozy tasting. Had a bitter finish

Went looking for a BCBS & Forgot I had this. Big thick dark chocolate dipped vanilla barrel. This puts KBS to shame. Wish I had bought more when I was in MI.........

Tastes like an imperial, imperial stout. Boozy. It really lacks barrel character. It is a 750ml bottle of 12.5% beer though. It’s better near room temperature.

Kept seeing it but didn’t think it could compare with KBS. Finally bought one and am pleasantly surprised. It’s robust with fairly strong coffee notes and some dark fruit. I’m hoping it will mellow with time. Gotta buy a few more for the cellar.

Nice thick pour, deep dark color with dark brown foam. Nice roasty flavor.

One of the best imperial stouts, the added barrel character is a bonus. Hope they bring regular back someday.

Pretty Solid. Smooth and creamy. Hides the ABV well. Not CBS but alright. Cheers!

Actually opened this last night for NYE with the intention of finishing it, but instead I went to bed early... Not sure this is really better than the non BA version.
