Saved this bottle for a couple years. The age on it did wonders. Super bourbon finish on this ABV bomb! 💣

I decided to stop checking into beers, but this is so worthy of a show 🙌 Bourbon, malt, hops all perfectly melt together in this one. Burnt sugar nose with apples when you swallow. Helps that it’s been aging in the bottle these last four years 😂

Need something strong to calm the nerves while watching the Lions! Wasn't sure how this would age...it's great!

You told me to wait a year before drinking it. I waited three. Sorry you’re not here to experience how right you were.

WOO-wee, its a big one. Light Amber color and big fluffy white head. Vanilla, oak, and an alcohol bite on the nose. Even a hint of dark fruit. At 14+% ABV there is definitely a heat and bite to it. Sweet but not cloying. A nice linger of oak and bourbon.

I am down to 9 after this one. Great celebratory beer for the Browns first playoff win in damn neart 30 year.

One of the bottles that died in shipping luckily I had a backup for my own reserves

5yrs aged! Definitely smoothed out the bourbon bite without losing any of its flavor profile.

Imperial Malt Liquor aged in bourbon barrels. Aged since 7/14/17. Boozy and malty! Thank You Bud!

Born ‘17. Worried FBC 7 yrs rule! 1st malt liquor worthy of a glass. Typically a slighted style, a class up in the wood & dry-hopping. The corn gives this one a smooth sweetness while its time spent aging in BBL’s gives you reason to share. 1 to share 😁!

FOUNDERS RULES. Happy new year. Pretty much a barleywine with less raisin

Lots of flavor, very boozy, but surprisingly not very heavy

This is something else. Room temperature is the way to go. 5 years old and aging great!

Still damn good 5 years later!! God, this beer was a total underdog when it came out. It was so amazing and received no recognition. It’s still really good today! This is one that needs to be re-made.

Lost a bit but still great. Seems to have a bit of apple flavor as it warms.

Vencida em julho de 2020. Licor de caramelo com madeira. Uma delicia de digestivo.

Was expecting it to be worse lol. Dunno why I sat on this for 6 years now

Ages surprisingly well. Nose was straight bourbon and malt. Incredibly smooth for a 14% beer. Biscuity malt drowned in sweet bourbon. Definitely a good sipper

Wow 2017 and still great in 2024. Why did they stop making it

Yes that good, even after sleeping in the 4th Cellar for 4 years, love this brew!

Unique idea. Sweet, boozy, getting the bourbon and oak nicely. BUT I can’t shake a bittersweet taste: old college memories of 40oz malt liquor bottles.

This one did not get better with age, I'm glad that it didn't get any worse, but it tastes about the same.
