Decent and very fudegy but with a lot of KBSs these days it would be nice to have at least a little barrel character coming through. Nice drink. Last night.

This is smooth and delicious. No hint of being 11%. I’m thankful for that. I’m also thankful for: the sunshine today, my kiddos who helped cook, a nice run, the wings and mac & chz we are about to eat, and the cutie here with me.

Slight sweetness of chocolate and maple syrup, coffee, and a huge heap of bourbon. Very enjoyable

One of the better renditions of KBS. At least it deviated in flavor more so than other Founders barrel aged stouts. But I’m still splitting hairs.

Really impressed by this, oak almost gives it a nutty flavor. If you don’t have at least two drinks before noon / with breakfast on thanksgiving, you’re doing it wrong

Dark brown pour. Dark chocolate and roasted malts on the nose. Taste is huge fudge and chocolate. Maple, barrel, and coffee pick up as it finishes. Sticky, but thins out. ABV hidden. Tasty!

Rich, thick pour w/deep brown head. Tastes of chocolatey sweet fudge foremost. Coffee complements in the best possible way, adding some acid & bitterness. Maple is lighter, like an afterthought. Boozy oak & bourbon notes are balanced & it all works well!!

Another banging stout from Founders. Just when KBS starts to become common place, they hit you up with this variation. It’s traditional KBS flavor, but the fudge definitely comes through making it a bit sweater. It’s still a sipper - let it open a little.
