This is a really, really good beer. If it was just a chocolate coffe stout it would be a 4.5, but being that it is barrel aged, I need more bourbon. Great mouth feel, though.

chocolate on the nose. i smell like coffee almost but that probably the fudge theyre going for. rich chocolate taste with some type of boozy, coffee taste. maple sprinkled in there.first time drinking this, and I like.

Opaque black w/ fluffy light-brown head & lacing. Chocolate-fudge nose & taste; add maple & bourbon flavors. Rich & sweet, it’s definitely a dessert beer.

Not tasting much for maple but the chocolate and heavy and rich. Also the typical KBS coffee note. Will have to try next to the regular version.

Aroma is all melted chocolate. I get maple sweetness and a bit of the barrel, but to me, the rich fudge flavor stands out the most. Another great take on one of my personal favorites!

Very balanced in flavor overall, but the barrel is mostly not present. Very carbonated for a barrel aged stout, I wanted more from this
