KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020)

Stout - Imperial / Double

Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we've created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic - one that could only have originated in Michigan.

Lots of chocolate, head so thick drops of beer rolled off the top. I don't really get any maple but so much chocolate and coffee. Thanks Big Sean.

Wow! Definitely in my top five stouts of all time. Dark, rich stout, Worth great mix of roasty coffee, fudge, and perfect amounts of maple & bourbon. Sweet but definitely not cloying. Just awesome! (4.55/5)

Wife finally allowed me to make breakfast for dinner and she recommended I crack this. So glad she did. This beer is phenomenal. Heavy fudge, thick bodied, and you can taste the bourbon, but it鈥檚 not boozy at all. Blown away!

Should have started the night with this. OMG. the fudge! Everything in the description and more. Like eating a square of fudge. Thick, rich, sweet, black strap, and overwhelming in a good way. Wow, crazy! Got a 4 pk. 2 going on the cellar.

This rocks. I get the maple, fudgy chocolaty coffee rounded out with barrel. May need to get more. Not quite CBS, but a worthy backfill

Wow...this reminds me of eating a chocolate bourbon candy from Kentucky. Not really too sweet but just flavorful enough to enjoy. I obviously get the bourbon and chocolate flavors with a subtle hint of coffee and maple. I would drink this again.

This beer is like being on Mackinac island in the middle of summer. A gigantic horse just passed by and took a massive shit in the street. you go into a fudge shop where a sweaty northerner is just flipping molten fudge endlessly.
