Aged almost a year. Bottled 2/22/21 and kept in my fridge. I forgot who gave this to me. It’s really good and since I’m not going anywhere today I might as well day drink and watch football.

Very clearly age improves this beer. Bitter coffee on pallette vs the smooth, sweet finish

If I’m being honest, a lot of the notes of these are starting to blur together and not especially distinguishing themselves, even as I continue to enjoy them.

It’s about the best one can wish for; deep roasty and dry with solid and smooth well-balanced flavours of chocolate and bourbon. Excellent 🍻

Another unintentionally late check-in, but as this was bottled on my birthday in 2021 (9-9), it felt like the perfect bookend to what was an exceptional long weekend of celebrations. Thanks to all who shared a drink (or more) with me!
