Very solid breakfast stout with a nice taste of socialism on the finish.

On nose get bourbon up front followed by chocolate & sweet maple syrup notes. Taste is creamy bourbon, blends to chocolate then sweet maple.

Omg! I've had this year before, couple times. 5 years old, and so good, so smooth. I may have to go buy the rest the place has! So worth the $20!! It keeps getting better!!

Smmmoooooooth. More coffee and chocolate up front with some very feint maple, almost brown sugar, on the back end...blends nicely with the coffee/chocolate palate. Loooooving life...

A good friend who lives in Whitehorse Northern Canada has been holding onto this for me for 5 years. COVID scuttled his plans to get back originally so this beer has a history. Time has mellowed it slightly but it is still incredible. MS, bourbon and choc

Creamy maple somehow? Not much barrel at all but lord is it still maple strong and can feel the roasty coffee. Another solid 5yr stout

Can't read the date beyond 2018. Excellent texture. Silky smooth and not overly heavy and thick. Earthy coffee roast is dominant with a complimenting maple sweetness. No sign of oxidation despite poor aging conditions. Drink now, won't get any better

I think it has improved sitting longer in the fridge. BA in Maple Syrup-Bourbon Barrels. Great combination of maple, chocolate, coffee tastes with an after taste of bourbon. Getting ready for a Doobie Brothers concert.

This beer was aged in-store. I’ve been seeing it in the cooler at The White Duck for years and finally bought it after passing my Certified Beer Server test (CBS, get it?) Delicious, aged nicely. Strong caramel, coffee chocolate, light cardboard.
