So i've had this for a long time. Probably at least 8 years. Purchased from Belair fine wines in South Australia. The best before date is today! 27/3/24. It's held up remarkably well. No noticeable oxidation. Tart. Subtle funk. Vinous with slight apple.

Got lots going on. Basically a mix of OG lambic brewers. Very well done

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2013) R
I had this in 2017. For a 10 year old Kriek the fruit is still very present. It's really started to smooth out. Carbonation has held up really well. A very cohesive beer with a bit of time on it.

Personal import from Etre Gourmet Belgium. Incredible balance. Subtle funk. Very dry. Has an interesting citrus note followed by subtle sherbet. Glorious

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) R
A good friend who lives in Whitehorse Northern Canada has been holding onto this for me for 5 years. COVID scuttled his plans to get back originally so this beer has a history. Time has mellowed it slightly but it is still incredible. MS, bourbon and choc

I thought this was going to be clear. Oh well. Basically a NEIPA turned up to 11. Big tropical fruit and balanced bitterness.

Incredible. Coffee, chocolate and caramel are noticable. Moderate bitterness. Silky chocolate milk mouthfeel. The bourbon barrel is musty, and tastes like it was a first use because the bourbon is everywhere. And it's everything. Masterful.

Wow. She's tart alright. Heaps of fruit. Slightly funky. Intense flavour coming through. Very dry. Just the usual Mikkeller excellence

Tart. Huge condition. Classic Belgian Kriek. A bit of age on these makes a big difference with regard to complexity.

Raspberry jam in a glass. A touch past it's prime but still a beautiful thing.
