2018, bitch! I don't know why we decided to drink this tonight. Scratch that, I do. We were worried it was gonna go the wrong direction. 5 years...FIVE YEARS...later, it's so good.

Finalmente pude degustar esse Ăcone e a experiĂŞncia superou expectativas. No aroma o Bourbon e o barril aparecem mais, na boca borra de cafĂ© e cacau. Macia e fácil de beber, essa delicadeza no paladar foi o ponto alto da experiĂŞncia.

The aroma is woody and bittersweet, like bitter chocolate. The palate is smooth, with a savoury, robust taste like coffee beans, followed by a slight sweetness derived from maple syrup.

This beer was aged in-store. I’ve been seeing it in the cooler at The White Duck for years and finally bought it after passing my Certified Beer Server test (CBS, get it?) Delicious, aged nicely. Strong caramel, coffee chocolate, light cardboard.

It’s big beer summer, and empty the cellar season. Cracking open this big bad boy from 2018. Beer holds up. Should’ve drank it 5 years ago.
